This OPV (Over Pressure Valve) is a wonderful and inexpensive modification for any machine with a vibration pump.
This OPV enables you to reduce and adjust the pump pressure.
Some vibration pumps produce approximately 15-18 bars fitting an OPV drops it to 9/10 bars approx. Some machines may be set to a higher extraction pressure those that come with pressurized baskets will typically extract at 12-15 bars. Finely ground espresso tastes better when extracted at 9 bars, using non- pressurized baskets greater crema and body are achieved.
Fit most vibration pumps, with a little fitting.
